Baby Christmas Dresses

My husband always tells me I’m lucky I have four girls because I get to play dress-ups with them…they are my living dolls! And really that’s what little Baby Christmas Dresses are all about. We get to dress up our little cherubs so they look adorable for everyone to “ooh” and “ahh” over.
Baby Christmas Dresses show off our style. But when choosing a Christmas dress for your baby you need to remember a couple of things…first and foremost, PRACTICALITY. Will you be able to get to that nappy for a quick change when you need to? Or do you have the time and energy to spend half an hour undressing and re-dressing your little girl.
Second is comfort. Babies spend most of their time sleeping, so you don’t want them coming into trouble when they are sleeping from pretty but impractical frills and lace.
Third is affordability. You little one may on wear her baby Christmas dress once or twice (unless of course you plan on more babies). I bought my fourth daughter a gorgeous little white and red dress and bloomer set from Target for Christmas one year. She wore it once before she grew out of it. There’s still room in the car for another little girl so there’s still hope I’ll get more use out of the beautiful little outfit before I have to give it away. But like me other mom’s out there have gorgeous little baby Christmas Dresses that they no longer have a need for so you may find a beautiful little surprise in a thrift shop near you, or even an auction website.
Fourth is style. This is where you get to show off your flare, oh, and your beautiful bundle of Christmas Joy! Consider the weather you’ll be in. Perhaps some thick cotton tights under a pretty satin or velvet dress will help solve the quick nappy change problem and keep her warm or go for something in a long top and pants set. There is a large variety of styles to choose from .
